OmniTaq-LA

This multipurpose mutant of Taq is able to overcome inhibitors in blood, serum, soil, and fluorescent dyes. It can tolerate 10 - 15% whole blood or serum in a PCR reaction. It is highly sensitive, and able to significantly shorten extension times. Due to its suppressed activity at low temperatures this enzyme also provides a Hot-Start for PCR. The Long-Accurate feature allows for amplification of longer products with higher fidelity and accuracy.
